Day 01:   ~ Transfer From Chandigarh to Sarahan

After Arrival, transfer from Chandigarh to Sarahan. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02:   ~ Transfer From Sarahan to Sangla

After the breakfast, check out from the hotel and get on the road to visit Bhimakali temple – a temple famous for human sacrifices in the past. Later, you’ll continue driving towards Sangla that takes 4-5 hours of time, reach your hotel in the evening or you could choose to stay in a luxury tented accommodation. Post lunch, visit Kamru and Sangla villages and enjoy a visit to the beautifully carved old temples and Buddhist monasteries. Interact with the locales and buy local stuffs. Baspa Valley is another destination that you could visit and enjoy. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03:   ~ Local Sightseeing of Chitkul Sangla Valley

The next day, you’ll be taken to visit Kamru Fort and its dedicated temple of Kamksha Devi. Sangla, a populous village, situated on the right bank of the Baspa River, is famous for its high fertile soil, at an elevation of 2621 m above the sea level and falls at a distance of 17 km from Karcham. It is built on a slope with the house rising one above the other the scene being closed by the gigantic Raldang Peaks towering behind. The next stop on your map is Chitkul village – the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border. Amongst the famous valleys of Himachal, Baspa valley has an irresistible aura. Night halt at Sangla.

Day 04:   ~ Sangla to Kalpa Local Sightseeing 2,759 metres / 9,048 feet (40 kms/ 2-3 hrs)

The next morning, you will be driven to Kalpa village after the breakfast. On the way, you can stop over at Recongpo and enjoy the vividness of the local market and buying local stuffs. Being the district headquarters of Kinnaur District, you can enjoy a local lunch at the restaurant, trying all kinds of Indian as well as Tibetan delicacies. Post lunch, you can visit Kalpa village and the nearby Roghi village where thick pine forest known for their quality apricots and apples welcome you. Not to forget the majestic view of the Mt. Kinner Kailash in the early morning as the sun rises above the snowy peaks. Also, visit Kalpa – a beautiful village being developed by the British in the Centaury. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05:   ~ Kalpa to Tabo 3,050 metres / 10010 feet (190 Kms / 9-10 hrs)

Post breakfast, drive towards Tabo while halting at Puh and Nako. We will visit Nako Lake and village and will have lunch in Nako. Nako is a heritage village built around a small lake and has an important Buddhist Gompa and a small temple. On your drive to Kapla, you can stopover at the Gue village which is also the last Indian village on Indo-Tibetan boarder. Visit the naturally preserved mummy of a Buddhist monk which is about 600 years old here. Later on reach Tabo and check in to your hotel. Explore the scenic beauty of Spiti valley and rest at the hotel during night.

Day 06:   ~ Tabo to Kaza 3,200 metres / 10,500 feet, (50 kms / 3 hrs).

Visit the Tabo monastery for morning prayers which is the oldest monastery in the Himalayas. Continue your drive to Kaza (3 hrs.) while visiting the Dhankar village, Dhankar monastery and fort. Here we will have a cup of tea or lunch with a local family. Later, drive to Kaza where you will check in at your hotel. The evening is free to explore in the Kaza market.

Day 07:   ~ Sightseeing around Kaza (5-6 hrs).

After breakfast, visit the village of Lagnza and enjoy an opportunity to walk around the village. You may wish to visit the monastery at the top of the village and on the way look out for fossils. If weather permits there is an option drive on to Hikkim, and the Komic village, which is now the world’s highest village (4,450 metres) joined to a motorable road. Take a trip to Kee Monastery. Kee Monastery, situated at the foot of steep ridges and on the left bank of river Spiti and the village of Kibber. There is also the option to walk to the nearby mountains where there are big herds of Himalayan blue sheep and snow ibex gather in the evening. Lunch will be at Kibber village, in a local restaurant, where you will be offered a choice of delicious Tibetan dishes. Take a scenic drive to the pasture country of Kibber. In the evening, return to Kaza for overnight stay.

Day 08:   ~ Kaza to Chandertal Lake

Depart for Chandratal Lake by crossing Kunzam Pass (15,100ft) after breakfast on the eighth day. Reach Baltal, change a vehicle to Sumo to proceed to Chandratal Lake. On the way, enjoy a mesmerizing scenic beauty of CB Ranges Peaks.  This place is the source of the river Chandra and according to popular legend; this is the spot from where The God Indra’s Chariot took the eldest Pandava brother Yudhistra ascended to heaven in his mortal form. Full day at Leisure to enjoy the beauty of beautiful lake and natural surrounded Snow peaks. Enjoy the overnight camping at the Chandratal Lake.

Day 09:   ~ Chandertal to Manali 2,050 metres / 6,726 feet ( 100 kms /06 hrs)

Make an early start by travelling towards Manali on the ninth day while crossing over the high mountain passes Kunzum Pass, (4,558 metres / 14,950 feet) and the Rohtang pass (3,980 metres / 13058 feet) to enter Manali. Reach Manali in the evening and check in at the hotel.

Day 10:   ~ Manali to Chandigarh (310 kms – 8-9 hrs)

Post breakfast, you’ll be driven to Chandigarh via, Aut, Hanogi Devi temple and Pandoh Dam.  Arrive at Chandigarh by evening. The tour ends here.
